| The rear view
camera is designed to assist the driver of
an armored
vehicle while backing up. A reversed (mirrorimage) view is
presented to the driver, just like a rear view
mirror.
A rugged
aluminum enclosure with a remote operated
door, protects
the camera lens from dirt and mud. The door
is designed to
break frozen or dried mud that might havebeen splashed
on the enclosure while driving the vehicle;the force of
the door exceeds 500N.With the
available MBC-108 Pattern Generator “vehiclepath”
symbology is superimposed on the video. The
unitalso serves as
a MIL-STD power supply for the camera.
